About Me
Ever since I was little I have always wanted to perform on stage. At any family party I would always get up and do a dance or sing a song for everyone. I certainly wasn't shy of a camera or a crowd :-)
At the age of 6 I joined Stagecoach Theatre Arts. This was for 3 hours once a week and they would teach you Singing, Drama and Dancing. At the end of the term we would perform a show to family & friends. Whilst being at Stagecoach I have performed in shows such as Annie, Bugsy Malone, Moby Dick and christmas shows that were created by the school.
Every Summer they would do a workshop for 1 week and in this time we would learn dances, songs and acting parts and on the Friday we would perform to friends & family. In the workshops I was cast as "Judas" in Jesus Christ Superstar and "Roxie" in Chicago.
I have had the opportunity to perform at the Hampton Court Fayre where I performed a song from Chicago with Stagecoach.
I have performed in "Jane Eyre" at the Epsom Playhouse. This was a great opportunity for me as I was able to understand the whole process from auditioning to performing for a paid audience 8 shows in 1 week.
Whilst being at Stagecoach I was approached by the principle to see if I would like to help teach 4-6 year olds in "Early Stages". This was for children who weren't quite old enough to join Stagecoach properly.
I left Stagecoach when I was 18 years old and unfortunately never progressed with my performing but was always going to see shows in the west end and thinking to myself this is where I want to be... I feel at home.
